Evernote for iOS 4 gets even better

If you have used the evernote before you would be knowing that the app exceeded 1 million download in few months of its release and currently has over 3 million users , the cloud based note taking tool Evernote has a new version , ie – 3.3.5 for iPhone and iPod touch .

The app has been a great success for its iPhone application development team but it needs to be molded with new features and user expectations, that’s what iPhone developers have been doing with Evernote after it released. The Evernote 2.0 update brought landscape typing and in-app web browsing last year, the next major update 3.2 brought miscellaneous offline features for times when you are not in 3G coverage area.

Now the latest version 3.3.5 is mostly about multitasking which Apple implemented in its iOS 4, while it has also limited things apps can do in background . Still the Evernote app takes the advantage of the features Apple has given it for downloading headers and synchronizing new notes with the main server, even if the app is running in the background .Another new feature is the function to record voice notes continuously, irrespective of which app you are using at the moment .

These features will only be available to users on the new app for iOS4 , which will come up with the iPhone 4 this Thursday , unfortunately iPad still awaits iOS 4 . Let’s hope like iPhone application developers come up with great ideas and turn them into apps which can be very appealing on the iOS 4.
