Morpace, a market research firm in US, has done a survey among the cell phone users and revealed that the group of people most eagerly waiting for the new Verizon CDMA iphone, is the existing Verizon users. Apple Insider has scooped the story.
The survey says that 29 percent of the users are ‘somewhat or very likely’ to pick up the iPhone if available on Verizon. It has also revealed that 51 percent of the current Verizon users are ‘actually waiting’ for the iPhone 4 to appear on the network. The survey has featured a sample of 1000 users.
This survey has definitely indicated that a large number of people are actually looking for some option other than AT&T. iPhone development industry is also waiting to reach a new customer base. However there is a lot of speculations about the requirement of the apps for the new carrier; but one thing is clear. The possibility of Verizon CDMA iPhone has opened up many new opportunities in the market.
